35 kilometers, three islands, one shared goal: rowing together, beyond competition.

On July 5, 2025, the waters of Lake Iseo will host the second edition of “Voglia di Remare”, a community rowing event promoted by RAEX – Rowing Against Exclusion that celebrates the true essence of rowing: inclusion, cooperation, and accessibility for all.

This is not a race. It’s a relay-style rowing journey, open to kayaks and coastal rowing 4x boats, covering 35 km from Sarnico to the Three Islands and back. The meeting point will be Lido Fontani, hosted by Kayak Sarnico ASD.

🤝 The event is made possible thanks to the collaboration of Rowing4fun ASD, LOVA Racing Boats, Canottieri Sebino, and other local rowing communities who share the RAEX vision: sport as a tool for collective growth.

More than strokes: learning, connection, and territory

“Voglia di Remare” is a chance to build bridges between clubs, experience grassroots sport, and connect through water.

At the heart of the event is COED (co-educational) training: mixed-gender crews rowing together across age, background, and ability.
This isn’t just about physical effort—it’s about listening, adapting, and rowing as one.

No elite status required—just a genuine will to row.

This gathering also serves as a powerful moment of local dissemination for the RAEX project, bringing its European values directly to the water:
⚖️ Gender equality,
🫱🏽‍🫲🏼 Community inclusion,
🌍 Sport as a bridge between people.

Stay tuned for more stories and images from the water—we’ll be rowing for change, one island at a time.
