After months of training — and yes, a lot of winter erg sessions 😅 — the RAEX team is ready to line up at C2 OPEN 2026 – ERG CUP, Stage 6, taking place on Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 February 2026 at the iconic Palestra Monumentale, Foro Italico (Rome).
For many of us, indoor rowing is where discipline is built: steady rhythm, clean technique, controlled breathing, and the quiet mental focus that comes when every stroke counts. No wind, no waves — just you, the machine, and the work you’ve put in over the months.
Why this event matters 💥
Indoor rowing captures the essence of our sport. It’s about control and endurance, but also about commitment and shared effort. Every pull is honest. Every meter is earned.
But for RAEX, this weekend is about much more than a race 🌍
RAEX stands for rowing beyond gender barriers. On the erg, everyone pulls the same chain. Same resistance. Same rules. Same respect. It’s one of the clearest expressions of the inclusive culture we are building — where performance and belonging go hand in hand.
Beyond the finish line
RAEX officially comes to an end in 2026, but the values behind it do not.
Events like C2 OPEN are moments where the project becomes a living community. They give us the chance to:
- welcome new faces and new generations of rowers,
- show that rowing is accessible, inclusive and powerful at any age or level,
- keep the RAEX energy alive beyond the project timeline.
Because inclusion doesn’t stop with a final report. It continues every time people train, race and support each other side by side.
