Qualitative Impact Evaluation:
The project will use sentiment analysis to assess the overall experience and effectiveness of the training sessions, camps, and regatta participation.
The goal is to:
- understand how participants perceived their experience,
- how it affected their attitudes toward gender collaboration in sports,
- and whether it led to personal or social change.
How It Will Be Measured:
- Sentiment Score: The survey responses will be analyzed to measure participants’ emotional and attitudinal responses to the training program.
- Feedback from Athletes: Participants will reflect on their engagement, learning experience, and inclusivity in mixed-gender rowing training.
- Coach Evaluations: Coaches will also provide feedback on how well the gender-collaborative training worked, and whether they observed improvements in team dynamics, motivation, and integration.
Verification Methods:
Surveys will be used after training sessions, camps, and the final regatta to measure the perceived impact of the project.
The sentiment score and responses will provide insights into the effectiveness of gender-mixed training and whether it encouraged greater inclusion and equality in sport.
This evaluation approach helps ensure that the project not only achieves its quantitative goals (such as number of participants) but also its qualitative goals (such as changes in perception and attitudes toward gender integration in rowing).
Surveys:
- After winter training: initial sentiment about the project -> https://forms.gle/4hXPkAQQKYfnmoyn8
- After camp: sentiment mid-project
- After the final regatta: feedback on the whole project
- Coach evaluations: at the end of the project
