On the occasion of the 40th edition of the Traversée de Paris, one of Europe’s most iconic rowing gatherings, RAEX proudly joined more than 280 boats on the waters of the Seine.
For two unforgettable days, 10 RAEX rowers — 5 women and 5 men — carried the colours and the message of “Rowing Against Exclusion” through the heart of Paris. Together with hundreds of crews, they rowed past the city’s timeless landmarks, turning the river into a celebration of sport, inclusion, and community.
This achievement was made possible thanks to the invaluable support of Rowing4fun ASD http://www.rowing4fun.com which organised the boats and coordinated the Italian rowers who represented RAEX in Paris. Their participation gave voice to the project’s values: teamwork, equality, and the joy of rowing as a bridge between cultures and people.
The Traversée de Paris is more than a rowing event — it is a festival of rowing, and this year, RAEX added its unique message of inclusion to its extraordinary stage.
Rowing Against Exclusion continues to inspire, from coastal waters to the Seine, wherever sport becomes a tool for unity.
