Limassol, December 14, 2024 –
This morning, the Limassol Nautical Club (LNC) celebrated the launch of its participation in the European Erasmus+ program “RAEX” (Rowing Against Exclusion) with a joyful Christmas event held on the beach.
The festive gathering brought together 25 athletes—15 men and 10 women—spanning various age groups, reflecting the inclusive and collaborative ethos of the RAEX initiative.
The RAEX program is dedicated to breaking barriers in sports by fostering a gender-collaborative training approach. The event not only celebrated the holiday season but also symbolized LNC’s commitment to promoting innovation and inclusivity in rowing.
By encouraging athletes of all genders to train, grow, and compete side by side, the RAEX initiative highlights the unifying power of sports to inspire change and strengthen communities.
Limassol Nautical Club is proud to embark on this journey, aligning with the program’s vision to create a more inclusive future for rowing.
